AIMS of the Curriculum at Dovelands Primary School

In addition to the aims set down by the Local Education Authority, we have a number of aims which will guide our work with your child here are just a few, the full list can be seen in the School Brochure available from the School office:

to provide education of the highest quality in an environment where every child’s needs are recognised and each has an equal opportunity to realise his / her potential.
to enable children to discover that learning is a vital, lifelong process that is both stimulating and enjoyable.
to promote self esteem in children, staff and the school as a whole.
