This week we created acrostic poems linked to anti-bullying week. We also showed our support by wearing odd socks to school.

This week we learnt about the story of Diwali and decorated Rangoli patterns. You also tasted some Indian sweets and shared how Diwali is celebrated in Leicester.

This week we designed our own toy with an input and output function e.g. a car with a button to make it move forwards or backwards. Have a look at your toys at home and investigate what their input and output functions are.

This week we have enjoyed writing our diary entries as Sennapod, an Ancient Egyptian Pharaoh, based on the novel 'There's a Pharaoh in our bath' by Jeremy Strong. You especially enjoyed his description of humans!

This week we held a 'Democracy' week across the school, including campaigns, speeches and elections. As a result, we have now elected a new School Council representative - Zoey and UNICEF ambassador - Roisin. Congratulations to both and well done to all of those children whom participated in making the week so enjoyable!
