• Open Afternon

  Parents and Carers are invited to an Open Afternoon on Thursday 1st October. This is a chance for your children to share all their hard work they have completed on their latest topic. Please come in through the office and make your way to your child's class.

• Foundation 2 Reading Meeting

  We are holding a reading meeting on Tuesday 22nd September at 9.00 - 9.30am. This will be a chance for you to find out how reading is taught throughout the Foundation year and give you ideas on how to support your child at home.

• Volcanoes Display

  Year 3 and 4 Parents,

  Don't forget to come and visit our volcanoes in the hall on Thursday 25th June at 3.15 - 3.30. Photographs of the residential will also be on display.

• Science Week

  Science week will begin after the Bank Holiday on Tuesday 5th May.  We are looking forward to a very exciting week of practical activities, experiments and investigations.

• Year 3 and 4 Parents Invitation

  Year 3 and 4 would like to invite parents and carers into school on Thursday 30th April after school from 3.10pm - 3.30pm. This is to give children the chance to show off all of their wonderful 'Long, Long Ago' topic work they have created over the past six weeks.

• Science Show

  Year 4 will be visiting Rushey Mead Community School to watch a 'Superhero Science' show.

   

• Creat-A-Con technology event

  On Saturday 21st February from 10am until 8pm there is a technology event in Queens Building at De Montfort University which aims to engage young people with Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) subjects. This is a free event and will include exhibitions on features such as 3D printing, Raspberry Pi, Minecraft, K’nex and computer-controlled robots.

• Key Stage One Star Dome visit

   The Star Dome from the National Space Centre will be visiting on Thursday 12th and Friday 13th February. This is a wonderful experience for the children and we are all very excited. Photos will be put on the website in the Key Stage One section as soon as possible after the event.

• Year 3/4 Parents/Carers invitation

  Year 3 and 4 would like to invite parents and carers into school on Thursday 12th February after school. This is to give children the chance to show off all of their wonderful 'Feeling Hungry' topic work they have created over the past six weeks.

• Key Stage One Science Day

  It's Science Day for Years One and Two at school today. The children will be taking part in lots of investigations and experiments lead by Mr Houlton (our Science coordinator). Photos will be put on the Key Stage One section of this website, as soon as possible, so you can see all the fun we had.
